The Beauty Confessions Tag

Hey guys,
I'm really excited to do this post, as it is actually the first tag that I've actually been tagged in! I'd like to thank Hannah from Hannah Louise Blogs who tagged me. If you haven't already, you should definitely check out her blog! I'll also tag her Beauty Confessions Tag post here.
So, without further ado, my beauty confessions!

1. What is your biggest beauty product addiction (lippies, blushes, highlighter, bronzer, mascara etc.)?

It's got to be lippies! I don't have that many products, but I love how a lip colour can change your whole make up look.

2. How many products from your addiction do you have?

I have around 8 different lip products, ranging from lipsticks to lip gloss.

3.What is one type of beauty product that you hate (highlighters, hairspray etc.)?

I don't really hate anything, but the product I probably use the least is blusher, as I love a good bronzed look (well, as bronzed a look as I can manage with my exceptionally pale skin!)

4.What has been your biggest challenge in beauty (e.g. a technique you learned or leaving a beauty comfort zone)?

Winged eye liner is definitely something that I found quite difficult to master, and I'm still not very good. I've given up with trying to get it perfect, so I kind of just 'wing it' and go (sorry for the awful pun).

5. What is one beauty comfort zone you don’t ever think you’ll leave?

Mascara; I honestly cannot leave the house without it. It makes my eyes look bigger which is great, cause it distracts from my nose.

6. What is one beauty thing you suck at (e.g. eyeliner like cat eye or taking your makeup off at the end of the day etc.)?

I'm absolutely terrible at contouring, but I would love to be able to do it. I'm so jealous of all these girls who have amazing cheekbones and whose contour and highlight are always on point. Sad times, I will forever have a shapeless face.

7. What is one thing in beauty that you don’t understand the hype (technique, trend etc.)?
I agree with Hannah on this one; fake tan. I would love to be tanned, but due to being very blonde and VERY pale, I would look so daft with a tan. However, if I had darker hair or wasn't so pale, then I think would definitely try it, just can't really due to looking like a snowman.

So there you have it, my 7 beauty confessions! I tag Lucy from Just Lucy's Life! I also tag anyone who wants to do it, as it's been really fun to do!

Much love,

Aaand Relax...

Hey guys,

As of lately, I have been in real need of some down-time, due to exam stress and deadlines. (This is why I have not been blogging as much over the past couple of weeks.) Therefore, I thought that I would write a post on what I do when I'm stressed, as I know this time of year is pretty bad for exams and deadlines, regardless of whether you're doing GCSEs, A levels or are at university. Also, there is kind of a Lush theme going on with how I chill out, but yeah, here's for all you super Lush fans like me!

Firstly, breathe. I know that you may think it's obvious to just breathe, but when I get stressed, I get myself all worked up and feel like I'm not in control and end up having a panic attack. However, if you get panic attacks, like me, it helps if you sit down, make yourself aware of the fact that you are supported by the chair and place your feet flat on the floor. Then, just take deep breaths, and I actually find it more calming if I close my eyes, as it lets you concentrate fully on your breathing. I was told these tips by a psychologist, and they actually do work. I hope that it helps!

Secondly, run a bath. Okay, here's where the Lush obsession comes in. Since I've started having Lush baths, their bath products are literally all I use. They have a massive range, so there will definitely be something for everyone, whether you like sweet scents, floral scents or musky scents, the list is endless! Last time, I used the Karma bubble bar, which I think is one of the most calming scents of Lush.

Plus, it turns the bath a really cool colour.

Next, I normally put on a hair mask or a face mask. This time, I used the 'Rosey Cheeks' face mask. Before this, I had never used a Lush face mask, as I have super sensitive skin, so never dared to try one. However, after using this, my skin felt so refreshed. After getting out the bath, I use my Neal's Yard Moisturiser that I bought in recently in London. You can read all about it in my London Haul.

Sometimes, as I find it so therapeutic painting my nails, I'll pick a nice nude colour (loving nude nails recently) and paint my nails. Right now, I'm sporting a good old fashioned French manicure.

After this, I normally just sit and read a book (currently about to start Us by David Nicholls), or watch my favourite series on Netflix (Gossip Girl, obviously!).

Hope you enjoyed this post, and I'm sorry that I haven't been posting recently, but I will definitely get back to posting regularly!

Much love,

Top 5 Tuesday

Hey guys,

Last week, I decided to make a little series of posts that would go up on a Tuesday to show what I have been loving over the past week. So, here is my top 5 of the week!

1. O.P.I in the shade Tickle My France-y - Recently, I went to Norway, and obviously had to have a look through duty free. Whilst browsing, I found a set of mini O.P.I nail varnishes. Firstly, I love O.P.I, I think that they do the most amazing colours, as I especially love bright colours on my nails. However, I have recently started loving nudes and greys for nails, and I came across this beautiful colour in the set. I love that it goes with everything, and looks very sophisticated without any effort. Plus, I have used it a lot, and it is still basically full, which is another bonus.

2. L'Oreal Elnett Satin Supreme Hold - Personally, I think that this is the best hairspray ever. I have used it for as long as I can remember, and still love it. As I have very straight but thick hair, whenever I curl it, after about 10 minutes, it goes back to being straight again. However, if I spray this all over my head after curling, the curls will literally last all day. It's also good, as it doesn't make your hair stiff and adds shine. Plus, if you need a little more volume in your hair, it's great to just tip your head upside down and spray the hairspray into your roots. When you flip your head back up, your hair should be big and bouncy.

3. BROWzings by Benefit - This is a product that I actually got for Christmas last year. I have it in the shade 'light', which I initially thought was going to be too light for me, as I have quite dark eyebrows for a blondie! However, it is the perfect shade, and matches my eyebrows pretty perfectly. It also has two parts to it; firstly, there is a wax to put on as a base to fill in and shape your brows. Then, afterwards, you go in with the powder, and fill in any last bits. The brushes are also provided, as well as mini tweezers. Plus, again, this lasts a very long time, as I have been using it since Christmas, and you can hardly tell that I have used any of the product. However, as it is Benefit, it is quite pricey, but I also have a drug store favourite, which is the Barry M Brow Kit: Shape and Define. This also includes wax, powder, the brushes and mini tweezers, but also includes a mini highlight for your brow bone.

4. Rose Jam by Lush - Right, the thing with this product is that, yes, I do love it as a bath product, as I have used it before and continue to re-purchase. However, I don't have a bath at university (sad times), so you're probably wondering how I could have been loving it over the past week. Well, it is because it just smells so damn good! At university, I literally have a drawer full of Lush products, and they make my room smell amazing. However, this stands out as the best scent, as it's just so floral and pretty. I know this is a very random thing to put in a top 5, as I haven't actually used it, but yeah, it just smells so good. Plus, it's cheaper than buying a diffuser or a candle, so is a great substitute. So yeah, swiftly moving on...

5. Gossip Girl - Okay, so if any of you follow me on Twitter (if not, my username is @tnlblogs), then you will know that I have been loving Gossip Girl. In the past, I have tried to get into it, but never could. However, last week, I decided to try again, and watched the first couple of episodes. Well, 3 episodes turned into 5, which turned into 10, which then turned into a full series...oops. As someone who has 4 coursework deadlines coming up, starting a new television series is not ideal, but ah well! I absolutely love it, and have watched 2 series (which are over 20 episodes each by the way) in about a week, so yeah, my assignments have taken a back seat in the past week. But yeah, if you have free time and haven't yet seen it, I'd recommend giving it a watch. I know that I'm pretty late to the trend of loving Gossip Girl, as my best friend used to try and get me to watch it all of the time, but yeah, love it.

So there we have it, my Top 5 Tuesday! What have been your top things of the week? I'd love to read them in the comments! I hope that you enjoyed my little ramblings, and I hope to see you again soon!

Much love,

Top 5 Tuesday

Hey guys,

So I thought that I would start a little series of posts that will go up every Tuesday, just to share with you what I have been loving over the past week. Hope you enjoy!

1. 'The Bronze of Champions' by Benefit - I have actually had this set for quite a while, but still continue to love it! The set contains two eye-shadow shades, Bikini-Tini and Thanks a Latte!, one to sweep all over the lid and the other for your crease. These shades are so beautiful, and add a bit of shimmer to your make up look. Then we have the Hoola bronzer, which is one of my favourite bronzers, and it also supplies you with a little brush to apply it with. Next, there is the Watt's Up! highlighter, which I also love. It blends so well into the skin and looks quite subtle, but adds a glowing finish. The last is the Hoola Ultra Plush Lip Gloss, which just adds that just finishes off the make up look. I normally use this set before a night out, but sometimes, if I'm feeling like I want to change up my everyday make-up routine, then this is definitely my go-to.

2. 'Moringa Body Mist' by The Body Shop - I have literally used this everyday since I was the age of around 16, and it is just amazing (obviously not the same bottle, but I have repurchased it again and again.) It smells amazing, and isn't too strong, which I like in body sprays. Also, it lasts a really long time, which is a bonus.

3. 'China Rose Tea' by Twinings - As you all probably know, as my last three posts have been about it (sorry guys), I recently went to London. However, I had never been to the Twinings shop before, which is really surprising considering I love tea! So I decided to check it out, and ended up coming out with 4 different kinds of tea, varying from Dragonfruit to Cherry Bakewell (they were nice, I promise!). However, this one has been the one that I have really been loving; I literally have about 3 cups a day of it, as it is just so calming. Plus, it has a subtle taste of rose, and, considering I love all rose-y type things, this was a big thumbs up from me.

4. Galaxy Golden Eggs - Sorry, but I had to feature some kind of food in this post, because I just love food. Recently, as in after Valentine's Day, all of the chocolate brands have been bringing out their limited edition Easter chocolates, which I've got to say, made me very happy. So, when I was doing my food shop, I came across these, and thought they looked good. Little did I know how amazing they really were. I'm a sucker for Galaxy anyway, but these contain crunchy bits of caramel, and they are just unbelievable! So, if you're looking for an Easter treat, I'd definitely recommend giving these a try!

5. Naked 3 by Urban Decay - Yes, I know I'm a little late with the whole Naked Palette hype, but I'm glad that I finally got one. Before getting this, I was never really a massive user of eye-shadow, but this has completely changed my mind. I literally use the colours in this palette all the time, as they are just so subtle, yet so pretty, as I don't really like to wear bright/dark colours on my eyes. So, if you're looking for a new eye palette or just want to try something new, then I'd recommend the Naked 3.

So there you go, my top 5 things that I have been loving recently. I really hope you enjoyed it, and hope to see you all again next week for another Top 5 Tuesday!

Much love,

Grace x

The TMI Tag

Hey guys,

I've seen a lot of these tags on Youtube, and thought it would be quite fun to do one myself, just for a change from my normal posts. Plus, it means you can get to know me a little bit better!

1: What are you wearing? A turtleneck stripy top from Urban Outfitters and a pair of black Topshop Jamie jeans.

2: Ever been in love? Yes.

3: Ever had a terrible breakup? Nope.

4: How tall are you? I think I'm 5 foot 4, but I could be wrong as I'm probably smaller.

5: How much do you weigh? Absolutely no clue.

6: Any tattoos? Nope

7: Any piercings? Only my ears, but I have had them pierced twice as they closed up. Actually, I haven't worn earrings in quite a while, which probably means they've closed up again. Oops.

8: OTP? At the moment, it's Chair (Chuck and Blair), as I have been loving Gossip Girl.

9: Favourite show? It's got to be Friends.

10: Favourite bands? The Wombats, blur, The Verve, The Script, there's too many to list!

11: Something you miss? Home, being this far away from where I live can be pretty tough sometimes.

12: Favourite song? Either Waterloo Sunset by The Kinks, Yellow by Coldplay, Dakota by Stereophonics or God Only Knows by The Beach Boys. (I know, it's a really bizarre mix)

13: How old are you? 19

14: Zodiac sign? Sagittarius

15: Quality you look for in a partner? A good sense of humour

16: Favourite Quote? 'Though she be but little, she is fierce' - Shakespeare (this is because I'm small, and people literally use my head as an arm rest)

17: Favourite actor? Probably Robert Downey Junior, Tom Hardy or Leonardo DiCaprio. Or Jennifer Lawrence, because I think she's really cool.

18: Favourite color? Probably purple or blue.

19: Loud music or soft? Depends what kind of music, as I listen to music quietly when I'm working as it kinda makes working sort of fun (plus this means I can stop and sing along every once in a while, as I literally have the worst attention span ever!) Obviously loud music when you're going for a night out and getting ready.

20: Where do you go when you're sad? My room, as I don't like people seeing me upset, as I don't want to bring anyone down.

21: How long does it take you to shower? Around 10 minutes.

22: How long does it take you to get ready in the morning? Ooo, this is a hard one, as before my morning lectures, I literally get up 5 minutes before I have to leave. However, if it was just a normal day, I'd say around half an hour?

23: Ever been in a physical fight? Nope

24: Turn on? A good sense of humour

25: Turn off? Arrogance

26: The reason I joined Blogger? This one was originally 'the reason I joined Youtube?', but I don't have Youtube, so yeah, I couldn't really answer it. However, the reason I joined Blogger is because I always wanted to start a blog, but was always too scared to do so. I'm really glad I did though, as it's just great to have a release from University work.

27: Fears? Spiders and small spaces.

28: Last thing that made you cry? A panic attack that I had in a restaurant last week, which was horrible.

29: Last time you said you loved someone? Yesterday, to my boyfriend.

30: Meaning behind your Blogger Name? I was going to put the Blogger name as just my name, but as I have an incredibly common name, I decided to go for something else. Due to this, I thought about what I normally get called, and at uni, all my friends call me 'geordie' or 'the northerner' (along with 'blondie', but that was also a common URL choice!). Therefore, I thought that I would go with the theme of being a northerner, so picked a stereotypical northern word for girl, therefore ending up with 'That Northern Lass'.

31: Last book you read? I think it was 'Funny Girl' by Nick Hornby

32: The book you're currently reading? '1984' by George Orwell

33: Last show you watched? Gossip Girl

34: Last person you talked to? My flatmate

35: The relationship between you and the person you last texted? Best friend

36: Favourite food? Pasta, chocolate or cherry lips

37: Place you want to visit? Hawaii

38: Last place you were? Does this mean on holiday or in general? If holiday, then I went to Norway over Christmas, but the last place I have been to today was university.

39: Do you have a crush? I have a celebrity crush on Jack O'Connell, and I'm actually going to see him in a play in Sheffield. Looking forward to it is an understatement! And obviously Zac Efron.

40: Last time you kissed someone? Yesterday

41: Last time you were insulted? Can't remember

42: Favourite flavour of sweet? I absolutely love cherry lips, as in the old fashioned sweet, and they actually taste of soap, which is weird, but yeah, I love them.

43: What instruments do you play? The piano, the cello, the saxophone, and I can kind of play the guitar.

44: Favourite piece of jewellery? A ring my parents got me for my 18th birthday, or a Pandora ring my boyfriend gave me a couple of years ago.

45: Last sport you played? I think it was squash? I literally am the most un-athletic person ever!

46: Last song you sang? I think it was Disco 2000 by Pulp.

47: Favourite chat up line? 'Are you gilette? Cause you're the best a man can get'

48: Have you ever used it? No, but I've heard someone use it and I laughed. A lot.

49: Last time you hung out with anyone? About 2 hours ago

50: Who should answer these questions next? I think everyone should do this, as it's actually really fun!

So there you have it, the TMI tag! Hope to see you all again soon.

Much love,

London Haul - Neal's Yard, Mac, Lush, Topshop, Brandy Melville and Urban Outfitters

Follow my blog with Bloglovin Hey everyone,

As I have taken two trips to London in the past two weeks, I thought I would share my recent purchases with you. I'm going to be honest, as I am a student, I don't normally spend a lot. However, as I was in one of the best shopping destinations in the world, I thought I may as well. Therefore, I may have spent a bit too much, but hey, what are student loans for? (And I apologise in advance, it's kind of a long post as I have realised that I ramble on way too much, but I hope you enjoy it!)

Neal's Yard

I have recently been looking for a moisturiser for my face, as I have very dry and sensitive skin. Therefore, when we went to Neal's Yard, I couldn't help but look at the moisturisers to see if they had any for my skin type. As I am quite hopeless at knowing which product is good for specific skin types, I asked for advice from someone who worked there. She immediately brought me to this product, and I have got to say, it was a very good suggestion. As well as doing wonders for my skin, it smells pretty great too. Does anyone else base their opinion on a product due to its scent? Just me? Okay... But yeah, this is really good. Even though it says 'almond', I actually think this smells of Turkish Delight, which is a bonus for me as I love Turkish Delight. However, if you don't, you probably won't like the smell. Or I could just be terrible at describing smells and it could smell nothing like Turkish Delight. That's probably more accurate.

'Almond Moisturiser' - £19.50

Mac

It's got to be said, Mac is the staple for all things lips. I personally love the lipsticks, as the range of colours that they have is amazing, and there is definitely something for everyone. Another plus is that they stay on for a reasonable amount of time. So, whilst I was in Convent Garden, I decided to pop into the Mac shop and see if I could find a new lipstick to add to my make up collection. Recently, I've heard a lot of great things about the Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolour, which I think is a range that is reasonably new to Mac. So, I thought that I would check out what colours they had, and found this gorgeous red. As someone who isn't very adventurous with their lip colour, I was hesitant at first, but thought I may as well give it a go. After trying it, I fell in love, and literally wore it none stop for the next couple of days. This range is matte, so gives something different to an everyday lip look, plus stays on for soooo long! I also purchased the lip pencil 'Cherry', which is just as good, as it can be used for most red lip shades.

'Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolour' in shade 'Fashion Legacy'- £21
'Cherry' lip liner - £12.50

I also picked up this little beauty; the shade 'Velvet Teddy'. I, again, have heard good things, as I know quite a few people who have this shade. It's perfect for everyday use, as it's a matte nude, so basically goes with everything and just adds a finishing touch to your make up. Love it.

'Velvet Teddy' - £15.50

Lush

Let's be honest, everyone loves Lush. There's no bath like a Lush bath, so I had to go in and see what they had. Plus, in the Oxford Street store, they have limited editions, so wanted to check them out too. I'd never actually been to the Oxford Street Lush store before, so was actually really excited to go in (I'm sad, I know).

I ended up buying a couple of things, as once I go, I never leave empty handed (it's so bad, I know, but everything just smells so good!). My first pick was the Blackberry Bath Ballistic, as it's one of my absolute favourites. I'm pretty sure it was one of the first Lush bath bombs that I ever bought, and I always go back to it. It smells amazing, literally one of the best products that Lush make. Would 100% recommend.

'Blackberry Bath Ballistic' - £3.35

My next pick was something I had never seen/tried before, so I thought I would give it a go, as I think it is one of the products that they only have in the Oxford Street store. I actually really liked the smell when I was inside Lush, but now I'm not so keen. However, it says it has silver glitter and popping candy inside, so I'm excited to try it.

'Cyanide Pill Ballistic' - £3.50

Next up, we have the Flutterby Bubble Bar. In comparison to other bubble bars that I have tried, this one is really big, as in it'll last you a fair few baths. This one smells really sweet, which I like. It's also got a cute little butterfly on the top, and I love the swirly pink and white pattern. Yes, that probably was the most girly thing I have ever said...

'Flutterby Bubble Bar '- £4.95

This one isn't actually from London, it's from Sheffield (oops), but I thought, as it is a recent purchase, I may as well share it with you guys! This is the Ultraviolet Bubble Bar, and again is larger than the average bubble bar. I love the different colours that it has, as I bet it makes the bath look amazing! Plus, it smells of parma violets, which I love, so yeah, excited to try this one.

'Ultraviolet Bubble Bar' - £4.95

Last, but definitely not least, we have the Rose Jam Bubbleroon. I've used this one before and it honestly smells amazing. My personal favourite Lush scents are sweet and floral, and this is definitely floral. Even though you probably can't tell from the picture, it has glitter on the top, which just adds a cute little touch of sparkle. (sorry, my photography skills are terrible, but I will hopefully get better!)

'Rose Jam Bubbleroon' - £3.75

Brandy Melville

Yes, these couple of products are kind of the same, but I swear that I will get my wear out of them! As well as being really easy to wear (they literally go with anything), they are really comfy and cater for my body shape really well. The first of the tops, the plain black strappy cropped cami, (well that was a mouthful), is super comfy, and has the softest material. I also love the thin straps, as I have quite small shoulders.

Black Cropped Top - £11

This one is actually grey (I know, my photography skills are pretty poor), and is ribbed. Again, this is super comfy, and is a bit more casual than the first one. As these products are all one size, I was apprehensive of whether they would fit, as my back and shoulders are quite small (I'm literally a dwarf), as normally cami tops fall straight off my shoulders. However, these tops seem to fit really well.

Grey Cropped Top - £11

The last is a little different in the fact that it is velvet. I never used to be a huge fan of velvet, but I have learnt to love it in tops, as it gives a plain outfit that little something extra. Again, fits well and super comfy. After never trying Brandy Melville before, I have definitely fallen in love with it, especially as all these top were only £11 each! Will definitely be returning next time I'm in London.

Velvet Cropped Top - £11

Topshop

I think basically about 1/2 of my wardrobe is Topshop. I just love how they do everything, from the basics to really unique clothes. When I went to the Oxford Street store, I just knew I was going to find something. Surprisingly, I ended up buying a skirt, which is very unlike me. Normally, I stick to a pair of skinny jeans, but I thought, I'm 19, why not try something different? So, I decided to buy this skirt. On first glance, it seems quite formal, but I think if you put it with a sparkly or strappy top then you can definitely wear it for a night out or just pair it with a simple jumper for during the day.

Topshop Grey Skirt - £26

Urban Outfitters

Again, Urban Outfitters is probably the other 1/2 of my wardrobe. I love the clothes in there, although now that I'm on a student loan, I've realised how pricey it is. However, I thought, as I'm in London, and don't really go shopping very much, that I may as well have a quick look in. However, I ended up buying two items, although they are both great additions to my wardrobe.

I have wanted a leather skirt for ages, but never really found one that suited me. However, when I found this, I really liked it. I actually paired it with the top that I bought (pictured below), and love them as an outfit. They both go together really well for a daytime look, as it looks sophisticated, yet the leather gives the outfit a twist on the stereotypical skirt and top combo.

Sparkle and Fade Leather Skirt - £39

Plus, the top is fitted, so is comfy, but gives a sophisticated look. Plus, I love a good turtleneck top, they are definitely a must-have in my winter wardrobe.

Cooperative Ribbed Turtleneck Stripy Top - £19

So, there you go, my purchases of my recent trips to London. I love writing posts like this, although I'm pretty sure that I ramble on waaay too much! I hope you enjoyed reading regardless of my rambling, and please feel free to leave the link to your blog in the comments, as I would love to start reading them!

Much love,

London, baby! (Part 2)

Okay, so I may have gone to London again...

To be fair, this trip was planned well in advance, so it's kind of acceptable that I went there twice in 2 weeks. Kind of. Anyway, I thought that I would share my travels round London with you lovely lot again, as I actually really enjoy writing these kind of posts.

Day 1

This time I visited London with my boyfriend, as he hadn't really been before. Unfortunately, as we both go to the University of Birmingham, we had to get up at a ridiculous hour to actually get to London to spend the full day there. I do love a good 7am start...not. It was fair to say that we were pretty shattered, so spent the majority of the morning trying not to fall asleep in the middle of Oxford Street. However, we were quickly awakened by the fact that we were surrounded by one of the best shopping destinations in the world, so went straight to spending our student loan on things that we didn't need. Oops.

So first stop was Topshop (I had to, it is the biggest in the world), and I will be shortly uploading what I bought along with the last London trip's purchases. When I came out, I saw the Lush sign, and immediately dragged Alex to it. Lush is honestly one of my favourite shops, I love the colours, the smell and just basically everything about it.

Obviously, as I was in Lush, I had to check out the limited edition products that are only available in the Oxford Street store.

Oxford Street soap

Look at how cool this is?! The Candy Floss Showder is something I had never even heard of before, but I think it's a really cool concept. You just pour out a bit when in the shower and then it turns to suds when wet, so is basically like washing powder for the shower. Very cool. I wonder who thinks of all the new ideas for Lush's products, as that would be the best job ever. Job goals.

Candy Floss Showder

From there, we ambled into a couple of other shops and bought a few things. We also came across this amazing Godiva shop, which had a chocolate fountain in the window. I really wanted to go in, but resisted, as I couldn't justify spending about £10 on strawberries and chocolate. It's a cool window display nonetheless. Window goals.

Our next stop was Carnaby Street, where we saw places such as Liberty, and I'm going to be honest, it's a pretty impressive department store.

After that, we went to Jamie's Italian for food (again, I know, but it was just too good! Plus, we got a 3 course for £20, which was a really good deal, especially for us students.)

Day 2

On the second day, we got the tube to South Kensington, as we decided to go to the museums for the day. We first went to the Science Museum, which was really good. I love how interactive the exhibits are; as someone who personally could not stand science at school, I love the science museum, and would recommend it to all. However, on that specific day, the IMAX was closed (sadly), but they have a various amount of other attractions, so we picked to go on the Red Arrows experience, and we both loved it.

After this, we decided to venture to the V&A, and I dragged Alex round the fashion bit. (He wasn't happy). Personally, I loved looking at how much fashion has changed over time, and was in awe at how beautiful some of the outfits were.

The view of the V&A from the Science Museum

Lastly, we visited the Natural History. We actually aimed to visit here first, but the queue was so big, we decided to visit elsewhere before. After we finally got in, our first venture was food, as wandering round London is tiresome (not really, we just love food), so got some food at the cafe. We then went round the exhibitions, and I even got to see a sloth (I love sloths so much). Honestly, if I was an animal, I would definitely be a sloth.

The architecture is amazing in the Natural History Museum

After visiting the museums for the majority of the day, we decided to visit Harrods, as we thought we may as well as we were in the area. Plus, Harrods is pretty cool. The sheer size of the shop is insane, and I love looking at all the clothes that I can't afford. To be fair, the displays are pretty cool too, so I thought I'd insert a couple of pictures of the inside of Harrods to show you guys.

I also obviously had to get a picture in the Disney shop that's situated in Harrods, as I love Disney! But, let's be honest, who doesn't?

Love a bit of Disney

So there you go, that was my weekend in London, part 2! I had a really amazing time, even though I am seriously sleep deprived, and really want to visit again to explore more of the city. Hope you enjoyed reading, and I'll see you all again soon!

Much love,

Grace x

P.s. A haul of everything I bought will be up shortly, so keep a look out for it!
